What does your donation pay for?

The GO Fund prides itself on the fact that 94 cents of each dollar donated is invested directly to help our beneficiaries. The remaining 6% helps cover our technical and administrative costs. Additionally, the GO Fund’s programs always deliver a return on your investment, either directly or indirectly. The most direct form is the return of funds loaned through our microcredit programs. The indirect return on investment is gauged by the self-sufficiency and personal and economic progress, of our beneficiaries who have received training and seed capital as a result of our programs.

Your donation will give a woman in Africa a chance to build and sustain a higher quality of life for herself and her family. Below are examples of what your investment will provide:

$50 - Gifts a marginalized woman a milk goat

$100 - Pays tuition for an under-educated young woman to attend vocational school

$250 - Awards a scholarship for a vulnerable teenage girl to attend high school

$500 - Buys a year’s supply of anti-retroviral medications for five children living with HIV/AIDS

$1,000 - Launches five new women-owned businesses
