The GO Fund, the Growth and Opportunity Fund, was established in 2005 by the Southern Berkshire Youth Association to support youth with limited resources who participate in experiences that enrich their passage to adulthood and strengthen both their lives and the life of our community. Youth applicants must be under 20 years old. They must either live in the areas served by Berkshire Hills Regional School District or Southern Berkshire Regional School District or attend those schools. The GO Fund focuses on unique needs and ventures and will partially fund opportunities where other contributions from the applicant, family, friends, or work have been provided or procured.
Applications are due twice each year. Once on March 30th and again on October 31st. Applications are available at local schools, Berkshire South Regional Community Center, Railroad Street Youth Project, and can be downloaded from www.thegofund.org. For more information, you may contact The GO Fund.
