Founder & Executive Director; Sarah Davie Walters
The Global Opportunity Fund (GO Fund) was founded in 2007 by Sarah Davie Walters, MPA, a public health program and finance manager based in New York City. Ms. Davie Walters has over 10 years of professional experience managing development programs in Africa, with an emphasis in non-profit financial management. In 2001, Ms. Davie Walters co-founded the Medical Relief Alliance (MRA), a non-profit organization that delivers medical supplies to underserved communities in Kenya. Ms. Davie Walters also has eight years of experience filling key finance roles in the non-profit sector, specifically as the Interim Controller and Senior Finance Manager at Helen Keller International, a global non-profit health agency based in New York City. Ms. Davie Walters holds a Masters in Public Administration from New York University, Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.

Program Manager, Home for Hope; Jennifer Vanden Bosch
Jennifer Vanden Bosch, LMSW, has over 6 years of experience in direct social services and non-profit management. Currently, she is a social worker/therapist at New York Psychotherapy & Counseling Center in Brooklyn, NY where she provides assessment and evaluation, as well as individual and group counseling. Ms. Vanden Bosch has also volunteered as a social worker internationally providing direct support to persons living with HIV/AIDS in rural Ghana with Alliance for Youth Development. Previously, she was the Resources Director for PEACE X PEACE, an international non-profit organization based in Washington, DC an interactive online community about women’s experiences in peacebuilding and international development. She holds a Masters of Social Work from New York University and a Bachelors in Psychology and French from University of Georgia.

Product Developer and Designer, Sew For Sisterhood; Monica Wontorski
Monica grew up in Chicago where she studied fashion design at Columbia College. She then moved to San Francisco where she studied fashion, merchandising, and product development at FIDM. Seeking cultural, aesthetic, and spiritual inspiration, Monica has traveled extensively to India, Nepal, Thailand, Central America, and Europe. In her time abroad, Monica found a love for embroidery and other techniques which she learned directly from indigenous women she lived and worked with. Today Monica resides in NYC where she incorporates these ancient techniques from around the world, together with recycled, vintage, and earth-friendly textiles into her custom clothing label, MonTree Designs. Monica continues to pursue her passion for incorporating tradition into fashion while creating market opportunities for indigenous artisans.

Lead Partner Ghana Programs – Elvis Morris Donko
Elvis Morris Donkoh is the Founder and Executive Director of Alliance for Youth Development in Asebu, Ghana that is dedicated to protecting and serving the region’s most vulnerable children, primarily those who have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS. AYD promotes the general welfare of Ghana’s youth through direct, one-on-one support of persons living with HIV/AIDS including providing grants for provision of antiviral medications and other medical support; collaboration with the Ghana Health Service to provide free HIV testing and counseling in the district’s poorest communities; and educational workshops on HIV/AIDS prevention to junior high and high school students. In addition, he has served on the boards of the MTV Staying Alive Foundation in New York, NY and Human Service Trust in Cape Coast, Ghana. Mr. Donkoh holds a Bachelors in Youth Development from University of Legon-Ghana.
